Job Specification for Subject Matter Specialist

Number of Vacancies :2 Location – Niwas & Mawai (Madhya Pradesh) Job Description: The Subject Matter Specialist will be responsible for overall management of the agricultural activities. S/he has to coordinate with Lead- Programme and other village level staff for implementation of agricultural activities on field. Key Responsibilities: 1.Technical Leadership and Coordination: o Coordinate all agricultural-related activities under the livelihood program. o Provide technical expertise to improve livestock management strategies that enhance community resilience against shocks and stresses (disasters/hazards). 2. Field Demonstrations and Capacity Building: o Demonstrate effective agricultural management practices on the field. o Conduct training and capacity-building programs for producers and farmers on themes such as feed formulation, small livestock breeding, herd improvement, and related topics. 3. Exposure Visits and Learning Support: o Organize and facilitate exposure visits to help beneficiaries gain insights into various trades and promote professionalism. o Conduct frequent field visits to mobilize stakeholders and beneficiary communities in alignment with project goals and agreements. 4. Value Chain Analysis and Market Linkages: o Conduct value chain analyses to identify suitable interventions for improving livestock value chains. o Collaborate with private sector partners to implement interventions that enhance both quantitative and qualitative improvements in the sector, directly or through service providers. 5. Project Implementation and Technical Support: o Ensure timely implementation of approved support activities and strategies at project sites. o Provide technical guidance to field teams and beneficiary groups as required. 6. Stakeholder Coordination: o Maintain and strengthen coordination with key stakeholders at the district and project levels to enhance program outcomes. o Respond promptly and effectively to internal and external client requirements. o Organize and prioritize work schedules to meet client expectations and deadlines. 7. Reporting and Documentation: o Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing program activities, achievements, and challenges. o Document beneficiary success stories for use in organizational marketing collaterals. Job Specifications for Director – Programme

Location: Delhi / Remote Number of Vacancy – 01 About the Role: The Director - Programme shall be responsible for below key functional areas – 1) Driving innovation and effectiveness in programme implementation 2) Develop and lead market oriented, enterprise development ensuring that all enterprises created by Udyogini are self-sustainable in its design, business plan, institutional and financial set up. 3) Forging collaboration and partnerships with various stakeholders (particularly with government, like minded NGOs and corporate partners) 4) Develop, implement and monitor the programme SOPs and ensuring the standards and quality are maintained across locations, all the time. 5) Early detection of risk areas in implementation (financial, programmatic and capacity building) and risk mitigation. 6) Thought leadership to teams on the ground and to the senior leadership Working closely with the CEO, the Director – Programme will prepare annual plans aligned with Udyogini’s long term goals in achieving financial sustainability and operational stability. The incumbent will be required to monitor and supervise all operations, field programs, enterprise trainings and social security interventions, while also identify, select, establish and grow a potential business idea or a value chain (that is pro-poor, gender sensitive, climate SMART, industry friendly and government supported) into a sustainable social for-profit enterprise. The role provides strategic and thought leadership to the state teams and facilitates the link between the on-ground operations with all support functions. Specific Roles and Responsibilities (not exhaustive) – Program Operation and Management (50% of time) 1)Lead overall programmes with quality outcomes, adherence to donor deadlines, responsible and accountable for the implementation of Udyogini’s programme in project states. 2) Ensure that the Udyogini’s programs are aligned with its vision and mission and are included in the annual plan of operations and budget. 3) Design and implement systems and processes to create the strategic and business plan 4) Lead, support in creating and coordinating the quality annual plan of operations (APOs) based on targets set in the donor proposals or strategic and business plan. 5) Guide State teams to prepare, in a participatory process, state strategic/ business plans in alignment with the Udyogini strategic /business plan. 6) Ensure strategic, high quality and equitable programming in the states. 7) Facilitate the development of multi product program innovations to achieve the vision and mission of Udyogini 8) Prepare and share a quarterly report to CEO on the progress towards achievement of the operational plan and budget (state wise and consolidated). 9) Provide for all Programme staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence; bridge national and regional operations and support an open-door policy among all staff members Leadership & Strategy (30% of time) 1. Builds and implements the programme roadmap in alignment with Udyogini’s strategic plan. 2. Evaluates and designs the expansion into new regions and district offices as per the organization’s strategy 3. Drives strategic operational initiatives, including coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure timely and accurate completion and delivery of outcomes. 4. Provide senior leadership and external stakeholders with regular value-added reports that identifies & tracks the status of programs, projects, milestones and deliverables. Community Relations (10% of time) 1.Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of the organization. 2. Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, funders, NGO Partners, government agencies and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization 3. Represent the organization at community engagement events. Risk Management (10% of time) 1.Identify and evaluate the risks to the organization's stakeholders and implement measures to control risks. 2. Review the existing projects and outline the level of dependency as per various growth phases that they are in and ensure alignment with key stakeholders to ensure the right actions. Requirements: 1)Post-graduate degree in education, social sciences, management or social work. 2) 15-18 years of experience in programme implementation, business strategy & rapid scale expansion in the development/corporate sector with 6-8 years of senior management leadership experience. 3) Result orientation, effective leadership, strong communication skills, influencing skills, stakeholder management, strong inter-personal skills and ability to work with people from varied backgrounds and levels. 4) Sensitive to issues of gender equality 5) Fluency in English and Hindi, spoken and written. Fluency in any other regional language will be an added advantage. 6) Strong analytical skills with knowledge of statistical tools are preferred. 7) Communication skills, written and verbal are desirable 8) An eye for detail and precision is desirable 9) Problem solving and an ability to strategic thinking 10) Value alignment with that of Udyogini and a passion for women empowerment. 11) Strong computer and digital literacy. Job Specification for Associate - Monitoring Evaluation & Learning Number of Vacancy – 01 Location: Mandla (Madhya Pradesh) Level : U2 Job description: Reporting to Project -Lead / State -Lead, you will be responsible to: 1. Data management, analysis and reporting: • Provide support for project performance monitoring activities and systems, including necessary data management and visualization software and data collection instruments, to collect, store, manage, analyze and report M&E data on indicators • Liaise with multiple stakeholders for timely data collection, verification and feedback • Conduct regular and ad-hoc data analysis and develop reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) to share knowledge, demonstrate progress and facilitate continuous learning for project management • Ensure timely MEL reporting to Project Manager and other stake holders • Working with the communications team, translate data into simple, powerful messages that resonate with various stakeholders and audiences • Working with Research, Data and Innovation (RDI) and Managing for Results (MfR) teams to ensure that data collection and analysis are of the highest standards Collaborative 2.
